Now may the peace of God which passes all understanding, keep your heart and minds in the knowledge and love of God.
It is this closing sentence that raptures me every time.
But how often do we revel in this peace, in a sensuous way? To not only understand the peace; but to allow the peace to take over our bodies, as well as our minds and souls.
Through our liturgical dance, we are invited to revel in the everlasting peace of God. It is a peace that passes all understanding. How can we allow our minds, bodies, and souls to be caught up in that deep peace?
May we take the time to settle into the everlasting peace. As we do, we channel that peace to a very broken world.
