I have a group of friends who see each other once a month for the last thirty years. The name of the group is FFMC, the First Friday of the Month Club. The unofficial name of the group is The Tribe, and that meaning is deeply scriptural and cultural. Whether referring to the twelve tribes of Israel, indigenous tribes around the world, or musical groups, what connects us as people is up to us and up to God. What makes a tribe a tribe is belonging. Isn't that good news!

Tengo un grupo de amigos que se ven una vez al mes desde hace treinta años. El nombre del grupo es CPVM, el Club del Primer Viernes del Mes. El nombre no oficial del grupo es La Tribu, y ese significado es profundamente bíblico y cultural. Ya sea que se refiera a las doce tribus de Israel, a las tribus indígenas de todo el mundo o a grupos musicales, lo que nos conecta como personas depende de nosotros y de Dios. Lo que hace que una tribu sea una tribu es el acto de pertenecer. ¡Qué bueno es eso para todo el mundo!
