Endless
The Old Testament reading at the early service on Christmas Eve sets forth Isaiah’s vision of a glorious future. It is a world in which there is no gloom. This world is radiant with justice and righteousness.
It seems like that world is a long way off, but today we celebrate a startling fact. God’s own child, Jesus Christ, has been born among us. Jesus is the revelation of perfect love, a sign that God is not separated from us. God loves us, and in that, there is always hope.
